Default Air Injection Malfuntion

Okay guys. The other day I was driving my car and got a CEL. I went to my house and pulled the codes and the only code was PO410 (Secondary Air Injection Malfuntion). I checked the little fuse box on the driver side and discovered the 60A fuse for the air pump was burned. So I went to autozone and got a 60A replacement for it. Started the car, worked fine! The next morning I start the car, CEL again. I pull the codes, same thing! So I check the new fuse and its burned in two also. So does that mean the the pump is drawing current because its going bad? Just wanted a second opinion on this and if there was any alternative way to fixing. Im wanting to get rid of the whole pump but the Challenge Delete kit in the sponsors doesnt even work right now. Can I replace with a higher Amp fuse to keep it from blowing? I would appreciate it!

Alright ill do a search. The weird thing is on the same day as the CEL, I stopped at a gas station the pump was on when I had the car off. I opened the hood and you could hear air blowing in the airbox. I dont get how the pump could be running if the fuse was blown? This was before I checked the fuse, but idk. I have a test pipe on the car so the pump is worthless to me so I dont want to blow a pretty penny on a new pump.

Unless you want to set your car on fire DO NOT replace the fuse with a higher amperage rating.

Yeah I figured that wouldnt be a good idea. I guess my only options are wait for the fix from challenge, or replace the pump I suppose.
