Check ur vaccum hoses..
Mine regularly pulls that code cause one hose between my stock intake and motor falls off.. I just push it back in and reset.. fixed...
Im just lazy to find something to hold it on better.

Then I believe the only way to rid your car of that CEL is to install an AEM EMS.

My SC'd S2k throws the code sometimes but all of my connections are accurate and held on tightly. I don't get it. But when it comes on I just disconnect the neg. battery terminal.

Actually i got it figured out, my friend did it on his ap1 and didnt tell me til i asked him..

All you need to do is remove the air pump fuse from the fuse box.

Hope this helps other people. No check engine for 280 miles in two long drives in last two days..

Getting my block off plate soon aswell to plug the egr valve spot sense it is useless now

You mean to block off the port where the air pump injects the fresh air stream. There is no EGR.

I didn't know there was a dedicated fuse for the air pump. Good to know if I decide to remove my system some day.

being lazy

pictures of the pulled fuse.

After you pulled the fuse did you still remove the
pump,
vacuum control valve (thing attached to the factory air box),
Air pump main valve ( one on the back of the manifold)
and the vacuum lines..ect
