Default Air Pump -P1415

CEL light went on the other day. Hooked up the computer and received a P1415 code: Air Pump Low Voltage Indicator.

Can anyone elaborate on the specifics of this? Would this fall under standard 3/36K warranty?

Need some help troubleshooting the problem. Reset the CEL so I'm waiting to see if it pops up again before I take it to the dealer

Thanks.

The airpump is part of the emissions system and falls under the emissions warranty, which is a bit longer than the basic warranty. Don't mess with it. Let the dealer fix it. If you fiddle with it, you'll void the warranty. Then you'll be hooped.

The PCM and Catalytic Convertor are the only 2 items covered till 8/80 under the federal emmisions warranty.

California cars have different coverages on CA cars only for 7/70

If you are under 36k, take it to the dealer. If you're over, still take it in. Goodwill consideration isn't hard to come buy on a emmisions control part.
