Default Airbag Switch Install Help Please

Bob Brown from the Co. in Maryland is coming down to do mine on 12/29. Has anyone here had him do yours? On top of that he's going to do it in the dark only using secondary lighting. I'm a little worried....should I be? Thanks.

No Worries, I purchased one of his kits. Works very well, Easy to install . Took only about 1 1/2 hrs and I was being careful.

I'm sure he will do well.

Bob's Kit is very detailed and covers the legality of the issue. He can go into more detail on this then I can. I installed the Switch under the Passenger dash in view from the drivers seat as stated in the directions. Again works very well if you have kids who want to ride with you.

Ok I posted a thread about the air bag switch and got no response. Where do I get this kit and do I have to notify NHTSA about the retrofit?

for a more thourou discussion do a search on "air bag", this topic had been discussed million times. to find the air bag switch guy, go to yahoo and just do a search for " air bag switch," bob brown's link should turn up. to get approval, go to NHTSA website, i think its nhtsa.gov
