Default Airbag switch- in the seat?

I have been searching and searching and have found a ton of replies about a cut-off switch for the passenger's side, but that is not my question.

I have a 2002.
Does my car have any type of airbag switch or detector in the seats?

Thx, that is what I thought.

So, out of curiosity, the electrical connection into the bottom of the seat, what is that for?

On the MY00-03, there is no switch in the passenger side seat. Only the driver's side and that is for the seat belt warning.

No, it does not vibrate, and worse, it does not get hot
