Default Aircon, how best to clean it?

It stinks, I know there are some sprays to disinfect and deodorize, just wondered if there is a proper way to clean it.

Get the A/C cleaning spray. It's designed for that specific purpose. Follow the instructions on the package. Not a bad idea to put in a new filter, either.

First, make sure that the condensation from the evaporator is draining properly. The AC removes water from the air as it cools it; this water collects in a tray under the dash and is drained through a tube out the bottom of the car. This tube can get plugged. It's rare, but you do not want stagnant water accumulating in the tray; all kinds of molds and mildews can grow in it. If this water isn't draining, anything else you do will only treat the symptoms.

When you park the car after driving it with the AC on, especially on a hot, humid day, do you get a little puddle of water under the car?
