Exclamation Alarm keeps triggering randomly!!

Hi all,
Unfortunately my alarm keeps triggering randomly when parked outside my house. It is on the street but it is very quiet and when I go to check there is nothing that suggests why it went off (flies or bugs inside the car etc). One time I had literally just parked it up and locked it and 2 minutes later it goes off.
I understand the sensors are quite sensitive normally so maybe this could be an issue?
I have a year 2000 with a Hamilton & Palmer alarm.
Any suggestions for what the issue could be and how to resolve it?
Thanks in advance.

yeah that might be worth checking, however I just did the test to see what was triggered and on all occasions it was the doors being open?... but i'm pretty sure they were all slammed shut.

Poor continuity, dirty switch, water intrusion, out of adjustment. Sometimes a change in weather could even play a role

Thanks. Think I will have a look at the door sensor switch and maybe clean it up if it needs it, or even replace where necessary.

OK so have checked the sensor switches and cleaned them off a bit and the issue still persists. So will maybe start going down the lines of poor battery continuity?
