Default alignment with coilovers

this may be a dumb Q but I've been wondering about it.

I know to get an alignment after the new suspension went in and it settled a bit. But what about when I lower the car an extra inch or so, then bring it back up to whatever height I think it was aligned at? Is an alignment needed after each and every height adjustment, or just after a noticeable change in height?

I read this over before posting and it kind of makes sense

Your alignment is going to change when you raise/lower the car.

So I'd suggest at least marking the height you get the car aligned at, so when you put it back, you're in the ballpark.

I am having trouble finding a shop that can correctly align the car after it has been lowered. They can align it to stock specs but that will not work. What have people done to get this right?

in NJ, I have a GREAT alignment shop that gets it to within 0.1 degree of what I specify.

Yes, I'm also lowered w/ CO's

Its a 4-wheel drive truck shop!

thanks - I am actually a customer of OK from my trucking days.

I guess what is a blank to me is when you say "what I specify" - how do I know what specs to tell them to align to?

This is what I'm running now
Left Front
Camber -1.8
Caster 6.9
Toe -0.01

Right Front
-1.8
6.9
-0.01

Left Rear
Actual
Camber -1.6
Toe 0.02

Right Rear
Actual
-1.7
0.07

next alignment, I'm going to pull 1/2 degree out of the front camber.
