Default Alignment Issue

I replaced all four tires yesterday on my 2008 S2000 and had a four wheel alignment done at the same time. The Honda tech indicated that he could not bring the left front caster setting to within spec. It's currently at 6.5 degrees, the right front is at 6.1. He said a suspension component may be slightly bent but did not see any visual evidence of damage. He said it would not negatively affect tire wear but what about handling characteristics? Anyone have any experience with this type of problem? Thanks.
