Default alignment issues

i got my car back from an accident last year and finally noticed that the side that was hit made a strange tire sound. took off the tire and the inside was worned down to the metal, so after new tires and a trip to the alignment shop they said they couldnt get the toe because one of the tabs were bent. it is possible to fix this by buying a rear anti bump steer kit?

Please take this car to someone that has a clue about alignments. I have been doing alignments for 26 years and the S2000 is one of the easiest cars to align if you actually now what you are doing. Where are you located? I can't stand to see posts like this. Just because a shop has an alignment machine does not mean they know what they are doing.

If they are telling you they can't align it because of a bent tab (the little black subframe tabs that back the eccentric adjuster), they are incompetent and don't belong working on bicycles let alone cars.

But if they can't get you in range, you likely have a bent knuckle. It would explain your negative/low right rear toe.

Look at the part of the knuckle that holds the lower ball joint. If it is touching the backing plate, the knuckle is bent in. It's the first part of the knuckle that bends, during a light curb contact. Compare it with the left side.

That car must be all over the road.

Whatever happened to thinking/working outside the box? Are these Firestone places really that dumb?

BTW the alignment in the front is a train wreck as well.

Then again, they must be REALLY friggin dumb, being that your right rear toes was +0.51 when you started

Stay away from firestone at all costs, post in your local forum and find the right guy.

Yup they obviously don't have a clue rear camber and toe will affect each other they have to be adjusted at the same time. Please find someone close to you that knows how to align a vehicle correctly.

Did you ever get this resolved? I have somewhat of the same issue from Firestone as well.
