Almost solved my eps issue
Ok so everytime I do a sharp turn the steering goes stiff and the eps light comes on. I was told if my steering is easier to turn on either said and harder than the other and eps comes on that I should neutralize the torque position sensor, I opend the manual and neutralized the torque position sensor, that didnt fix the problem, pulled the proper 7.5amp fuses from the under dash, that didn't work, disconnected the negative terminal on battery, that didn't work. So all I have now is the dtc codes which are 14 (open or short to body ground in torque sensor circuit) that seems pretty straight forward... and 35 (a problem with the sub micro-computer)I went thru the questions in the book and skipped down to the appropriate areas in the book then I checked all connections from the eps control unit like it said, then it stated that if all connections are fine the system is well. I must have missed a bad connection or something...is anybody near kitchener-waterloo, Ontario Canada that has spare time to help me out by any chance, second pair of s2k eyes are always better than 1 pair. Or if anybody has experienced this first or second hand please share your solution. Ty.
P.S. My profile says usa for some reason lol. I gotta fix that, but like I said anybody from southern ontario free this sunday or next plz feel free pm me to stop by my small garage in my house. Peace guys
