Default Alternative key fobs / remotes

The rubber case buttons on my key fob have disintegrated to the point where it no longer works (the battery and internal workings are fine). I thought I'd just pick up a second hand one on ebay and swap the case over with mine. However I'm struggling to find any on ebay.

Is it possible to use a different type of key fob and program it?

My alarm is factory fitted, HONDA CAT 1 Thatcham T2 Category 1, with just 2 buttons

The same as this one

What I am wondering is whether something like this one below can be programmed ok?

Any advice appreciated!

My fob looks like the second one but has a trunk and panic button added. No idea if it will work for yours, but it is factory fitted on some S2000s.

I bought the alternative remote fob and I could not program it (I have the dealer instructions for that so know how to do it), so I can tell you it doesn't work as a replacement.
