Is alternator the same for all model years?

The 04 has a higher output Amperage rating than the 00-03. Not sure if the plug on the back is different.

All years are wired the same.

Just to add....

I sold an 01 alternator to a guy with an 04...he's been running it for months with no issues...yet So plug and play I'd say yes...

I'd search for anyone buying or selling a complete engine, maybe they will sell you the alt.

I'm going to check one out on Sunday. I'll try to score an alt for ya.

OK - I'm curious now. I did a search and couldn't find a price for an S2000 alternator. Are we talking $200, $500, more??? Just looking for a ballpark figure.
