Default Amazing Lsd!!!!! And Gears

so my diff blew about a month ago. i orderd the 4.44's and a Cusco 2way RS lsd. this morning i went to pic up my car. everything looked great. took the car and was driving home. man the gears feel great. nice pull i feel a major difference in 4th gear. and holly crap this lsd is sick. it makes the rear end feel like it has roots going into the ground. i get almost home and i smell diff fluid. not good. so i pull over and the fluid is leaking out. go back to honda and they find a small hairline crack in the outter housing that they never noticed because the diff never got hot enough. so i will get the car back again monday. but all i have to say is the lsd is ING AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I never really understood what's the difference between 1 way, 1.5 way, and 2 way LSD's. Can someone give me a brief overview on what the differences are and how each perform?

well what i was told was this. 1 way only works on accel, 1.5 works all on accel and half on decel, and 2 way works fully on both accel and decel. it also locks one way of the gears on tight turns to give max power to independent wheels

You really saved them (assuming that they would have done the right thing and repaired your differential again because of their failure to detect the crack).

My S2000 is my first car with a limited slip differential. The funny thing is that I can't "feel" a difference between it and the regular differential that my 240SX had. If I make a sharp turn and press on the gas hard, the inside wheel doesn't squeal, so I guess that means that it is working?

It's a Torsen type, so it doesnt lock.

Generally 1.5 way is for roadracing and 2 way is more for drag racing
