ok. i have an 02 about 95k on the odo, have been noticing a clicking sound comming from ? not the engine , it seems as i pass objects or cars i can hear it with my windows rolled down . my best guess is a wheel bearing bad .. i dunno its drivin me nutts though.. any help?

 

Could be exhaust leak too. The sound like tics too sometimes.

 

it seams its comming from the diff or the wheels , cant hear it at all under the hood, only the normal chatter under the hood

 

My rear CV joint on the drive shaft (propellor shaft according to Honda) dried out and made a very similar noise, at about 140k (??). It would sometimes get louder if I accelerated hard but other times it didn't seem to make a difference what I did, it would come and go on it's own. At those times when it felt like making noise it was more noticeable when I opened the door while driving slow around a parking lot.

I eventually replaced the drive shaft with a used one with low miles, been fine ever since.

 

Maybe you just have a stone stuck in the tread of one of your tires. Or a big nail or screw.
