Default another oil filter question

i know that we need the pcx-004 filter,...rather more than the universal filter of plm-a01,....i went to the dealer and didnt take the part number so i took the wrong filter i didnt want planning on just exchanging it later. but i just looked at the reciept and i says its a 15400-plm-a02,.....i searched and "a02" didnt even come up.........is this the wrong filter entirely???? and not even the universal honda filter?????

the PLM is the universal filter, the last part is who made the filter IIRC.

IIRC = if I remember correctly

IIRC isn't the company that makes the filters.

A01 filters are made by Filtech. A02 Filters are made by Fram. Neither is the correct filter for the S2000.

Go here , scroll about half way down the page, and order a 6-pack of the correct filters for $40. You're done.

Correct on the IIRC. I have an A01 and A02 in the garage, but didnt go out to check to make sure which was which. I was thinking the A02 was the POS fram though.

The old school filtech's are almost identical to the PCX though (pre-PLM).. the new smaller PLM is a crappy filter, especially when FRAM is stamped on it.

15400-PLM-A02 is a universal filter manufactured by Fram. It's a piece of shit, although not the worst fram on the market.. don't use it.

Stick to 15400-PCX-004, 15400-POH-305, 15400-PR3-014

BS, they don't WANT to get any other filter.

Get one fast, that fram really is a POS. Actually, I'd return it and just use a K&N from autozone/advance auto.
