Default Another rattle sound...

Hi! I've had a rattle noise in my car for a while now. First I thought it was the cat., but it's not. When I was under the car yesterday I found a screw on a heatshield that was loose. I tightened it, and the sound was still there.... When a friend of mine was in the car to rev the car to these rpm's so I could hear the noise, I think it sounded like it come from the gearbox The sound is at 1100-1500rpm's and approx. 2000rpm's. I can hear it when the car is in neutral, and when I drive in first gear. Can anyone help me? I also think the sound came AFTER the clutch was changed 7000km ago. This sound is SO f.....g annoying! HELP!

You're not being descriptive enough, or the situation is 'simply too complex' to be solved over the internet. Take it to a mechanic you trust and let him have a look at it (or the place that installed the clutch if thats what you suspect).

I can record a little video and put it on Youtube. The problem is that there is no mechanic I trust around here. (Haven't been here very long.) The local Honda dealer really sucks regarding customer service and their mechanics suck as well... The workshop which replaced the clutch is 250 miles from where I live at the moment..

Here is a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FPyeRN_kmWc

Easiest to hear the sound the last 2 seconds on the video, but also some short "pulses" before that. It's like something is loose...

It sounds like a rattle
What sort of clutch was used? OEM?

Check & double check every heat shield on the exhaust.
Engine & tranny mounts?
If you can't find anything:

Make an appointment.
Fuel up.
Drive the 250 miles.

Oem clutch was used. I'll check the heatshields again, and also engine and tranny mounts. Haven't thought about that. Will do as you said if I can't find out what it is...
