Default Another Turbo Kit Now Available. PICS.

Remember the Rev Hard turbo kit a while ago? Well, a Rev Hard dealer
told me that the kit is now available.

What's so good about this kit? First of all, they make great civic and integra kits.
Their kits make power and are very well known in California.

I have yet to see a turbo kit under $4000. And their kit is for sale right now
group buy price:

Rev Hard Honda S2000 Kit - 3799.95 Shipped (Pre Order) !!!!

Yes, the kit is complete but I do not know the exact specs.

Any comments welcome.

Umm, when you click on Rev's pictures. The first thing he rights is "not-so-impressive" turbo kit.

I just called rev hard, they said the kit will be available in 4-8 weeks. The price will be 4000-4500...more likley the latter and will not include any electronics or fuel managment. Just the hardware. Plus the intercooler is not a front mount. So for 4500 dollars spend a grand more and get a real deal intercooler and fuel managment from ultimate. The only problem though is to import the ultimate racing kit you will need to spend atleast 500-600 in duty fees to bring it to the states

I'm guessing they may have done this in order for shorter piping, resulting in better throttle response.

True....but one would think that cooling town the charge air on high compression motor would be of primary concern vs. throttle responce.

I definitely agree with you there. I wonder what the temperature differences are with the front mount vs internal mount.

This type of IC reminds me of the old RX-7 intercoolers.
I think the WRX STI intercooler is like that too... I believe
it works and should have better throttle response.

4000-4500 is retail/msrp price. you can get
them for 3799.95 Shipped from After Hourz Performance.

A sleeper turbo setup. May not be the best turbo... but the price can't be beat.

This kit better come with a battery relocation kit. This turbo looks like it is placed higher in the engine bay... guaranteed to fry a battery in stock location... not to mention the AC line.

I predict not as much peak horsepower as the Comptech SC (11:1, 91 Octane) but the RH turbo torque is going to blow the SC out of the water. It's all about the area under the curve.
