Any idea about output?
The plan for the S2K is the ARC induction box, Toda individual throttle bodies, Spoon header, Amuse Ti exhaust, Toda cams, springs and retainers, and applicable fuel requirements (pump, injectors, etc.), plus ECU tuning (more than likely a Power FC or AEM EMS). Any ideas what this combo will make?
Tracking similar mods (less the throttle bodies) in HyperRev suggests 280 hp. I am hoping for closer to 300 hp. Not quite on the level of my Evo, but enough to make the S2000 REALLY entertaining without resorting to forced induction.
Thanks to Loi for the inspiration.

Do you really need an ARC induction box if your going to be using ITB's?
The ARC box is a good lookin piece of crap....Omran from Dubai was having one and it brought him 0.0whp:O))) But according to your plans having a dual exhaust, you are the bling bling guy anyway

You can see my mods list in my sig. I have most of the stuff you've mentioned, and I'd guess-timate that I'm putting down somewhere in the high 220's at the rear wheel (dynojet). That would probably be low 270s at the flywheel. A programmable ECU tuned to run on the ragged edge could probably put me around 240rwhp.
Anyway... my car club is scheduled to have a dyno day next weekend, so I'll try to post results at that time (if I don't post back in this thread... look in the North Texas regional forum).

No where did I mention a dual exhaust, genius. I am going for light weight, ideally with a high-flow cat. I don't care what the ARC output is - Loi told me it really improves throttle response.
F'in smart-asses everywhere.
MXT - Your output is about what I am looking for (~270-280 bhp, maybe 220-230 whp). About what a stock Evo puts out. My Evo puts down about 300whp, but it can manage it a lot better with the AWD.
The reasons for no forced induction are two-fold:
1) I don't want wheelspin all the time and
2) I really want some serious throttle response. Overall HP is not the big target.
Thanks for the input.

For the price youll spend on that stuff, you could 2 FI kits. You wont get much wheel spin with FI unless you launch at over 6k. Besides youll have the same wheelspin if you made that much HP N/A anyhow.
A lot of money to spend for a little throttle response.

you do realize that if you make the same power turbo or N/A and you're guessing wheelspin with turbo...well guess what. Same thing will happen N/A with the same power. Only worse because N/A is instant power while the turbo will have a very momentary lag. Plus no one knew you were focusing on response than overall power
. Go for the toda ITB's and post some #'s when you get it all done along with ambient air temp and humidty!
Good luck though. BTW, today i've seen another reason why toda sucks. It's the same reason why others have said toda sucks.
