Just got the exhaust installed and it sounds AWESOME!! But there were a few glitches. My left exhaust was higher then my right one and when I got home, the plastic molding had melted. ANyone have any thoughts on how to adjust the exhaust? THe guys that installed mine were telling me that I needed some kind of special HKS bracket or something like that. PLEASE HELP. =(

It must be touching for it to have melted your plastic. I noticed my left was a little higher when I installed it. I just loosened the bolts on that side and readjusted it. Make sure your rubber hangar is on correctly too or it could also raise the exhaust canister.

Good luck.

What did it melt? What plastic?

Mine are both touching my rear bumper. I think one sticks out a little more, but not noticable.

9000RPM, when I had it on mine, I didn't have any problems (Perfect install). As far as I know, there's no "special HKS bracket" it came with (I'm sure other HKS Hiper owners can back me up on this). The only thing I can tell you is redo the install just like everyone else here is telling you how to do it (loosen the bolts & adjust). LMK, if you have anymore problems.

I've not heard of brackets either. I'm curious about them

mingster...
at that time the spoon exhuast wasn't availble...also i wanted the dual exhuast look....love the sound and the power of the single exhuast that the spoon made but...i went with the dual look.....
plus Hks is more geared towards turbo cars...they just made the right exhuast at the time.....
