Any Practical Use for Hood Insulation on Underside of Engine Hood ?

I noticed better turn-in and less brake dive as well however it distruptef the 50/50 weight distribution so I removed my exhaust tips to make it even

Oh I never thought about that, now my distribution is 49.00000000001% / 50.0000000099% f/r , lol. I could always put a vtec solenoid cover on the solenoid valve to re-balance the weight I guess, lol.

Wow don't ever get constipated, your handling will really get messed up.

RE: Hood insulation, I've always removed it for weight, cooling and aesthetics. I notice the body color isn't complete under the hood though, only primer under the middle of the insulation pad.

Sounds like they got lazy on yours. When I had my stock hood, I removed the insulation and mine was fully painted. Same goes for all other S2000's I've seen with it removed.

Not an issue I keep four prunes in the glovebox.

Sounds like your hood is aftermarket

The paint on my hood underside is decent, pretty good shape.

i still have my insulation under my hood and it does not rub up against anything and im a huge OCD person when it comes to fitting items under the hood and i got this going...
