Default Any prob using 1 step colder plugs?

I have some NGK BKR8EX plugs but the car is meant to run on PFR7B's.

Any issue using them? I cant see a problem - I bought them for my S/C install which is on hold but want to fit them, maybe long term N/A

Cheers!

I ran a set of NGK 7173's for 10 months NA without a issue. No effect on engine performance for street use.

Are they a step colder than stock?

The codes are different to UK ones!

I ran IK24 (Denso Iridium, 1 step colder than stock) on my AP1 for the street. But I fouled one of the plugs because I didn't drive the car hard enough. So I went back to the normal heat range (IK22) plugs.

For street use (or long term NA), I wouldn't recommend it unless you beat on the car. If you are only going to be NA for less than a couple thousand miles before you go SC... run them. You'll be fine. Just don't expect 10hp... or even 1.

7173's are 1 step colder, non-resistor copper core plugs.
