Default Anyone here with a stroker kit on their S2000?

Well it's funny, I have the parts before I even have the car (now that's dedication)....

I'm in midst of purchasing my car right now....

And right now I have:

17" Volk TE-37 in Bronze
4 Falken Azenis tires

Rick's X-brace
Cusco Front STB
Cusco front and rear sways
(I received these parts off of another friend's S2K that in an accident- these were able to be spared)

I was wondering if anyone has gone with the stroker kit from Feel's for their S2000. With all the components the kit claims I believe 280 whp! My plans for the car is to track the car and it will not be a daily driven S2000. I'm a NA fan because even when I autocrossed, NA just had a more useable powerband than the FI guys.

I want some opinions on a stroked setup and I want to know if it is realistic to go for a setup like that i.e. cost, reliability, and comparison to other setups.

TUNE! That's all I have to say, if you aren't ready to shell out another $3k on top of the stroker kit to tune. Don't even bother. Hell don't forget the cost of actually installing the stroker kit and hoping that it's done right.

BTW, I see no reason why you would even want to the Feel's kit, just get an 04 2.2L the extra .1 isn't worth the trouble IMO. I also don't think that 280 is at the wheel, it's probably crank hp.
