Anyone use an oil catch tank???
Does anyone have the diagram that Option2 posted earlier? It doesn't seem to load.
Does it make a difference if we 'T' the PCV valve and valve cover breather together? I am concerned about maintaining the vacuum in the lines. I have the Comptech intake and there is no nipple on the piping.
EXIT: PCV valve+Valve cover breather 'T' to catch can.
RETURN: catch can to Manifold.
Is this correct?

Don't route it like that, you would upset the balance of the pcv system.

I was pondering just fitting a fuel filter in between the pcv valve and the intake manifold, any thoughts on this? I was thinking that the fuel filter media would be good enough for catching the oil vapor.

If I were you I'd set your greddy can between the PCV valve and the intake manifold, and if you want, put a filter on the valve cover. I plan to use a simple breather type filter, and plug the intake hole. But another variation would be to take your filter idea and put it between the intake, and valve cover breather nipple, this could catch any blow back garbage.... I do not know if the fuel filter media would work for this, might not be fine enough.....

Actully when you install any AEM style CAI you already upset the OEM design of the PCV system the oem design has a pipe that extends into the intake pipe allowing air to enter the valve cover from the intake pipe before the TB. On a CAI (AEM style) they weld a fitting on the outside of the intake pipe you get suction on this fitting now.
If you really didn't want to upset the OEM PCV system I think you would need to buy a Mugen or Spoon CAI. The hose on my catch can is brown with oil coming out of the valve cover and less brown coming from thecatch can to the AEM idicating to me that the air is sucked into the AEM from the valve cover.
BTW I have had to empty my can once this year so far and it was about half full of oily liquid it seemed to fill up very fast after a couple of track days. Doesnt really fill up that fast just daily driving.
So I wont be changing the setup I use of both valve cover lines to the catch then catch to the AEM. Works fine without problems why change!

JDMwhore - thanks. I was wondering about how the AEM would affect air flow. I think this is why it was mentioned earlier to put a catch can in both lines. I plan to use just the breather, but if it backs up too much oil, I'll put a catch can between the AEM and valve cover also. All you need to do is vent the crankcase anyway, so whatever works.....

This picture is "the" picture to show you that how pcv system works.
Valve cover Breather, white arrow, sucks air into the crankcase, replace the vapors, comes out of the pcv valve back into the intake manifold, and finally get burned by the combustion chamber again.
So, AEM or not AEM style intake, it does not effect the balance. You can stick a little filter on the valve cover breather, it won't effect the balance. All it does is sucking in fresh air. Actually, if you really think about if AEM pipe did not have an nipple, wouldn't it benefit the intake stream by not obstructing the flow?
Tri connect the valve cover breather and the PCV into the one catch can and then goes back together to the manifold should not be done. Where will the motor gets it's fresh air? Even worse case scenrio, the crankcase don't get ventilated well and over pressures the crankcase during high RPM, high boost situation result in seal blowing.
