AP1 Ballast After-Market
Does anyone know of a AP1 ballast (aftermarket) that would require little cutting / modifying to get it to fit? The replacement AP1 OEM ballast is ridiculously expensive and I know my current one is flickering and about to give out.
I tried searching on here but turned up relatively empty. I'm not looking to go crazy with colored lights or anything - just looking to save some money.
Thanks

I doubt it.
Ballasts are very common in the used market, usually lots of people sell them.
The factory ballasts can also collect water, causing flicker. You can take them apart and blow dry the circuit board with compressed air and possibly fix them permanently. I did one like this many years ago its been good ever since.
Water enters the ballast via the braided wire cover. Pull back, seall will silicone, good for life.
