Default AP1 Headlight guts into AP2 Shell

I recently had a Frito Lays trunk run into my front end... so i figure i'd get a paid of AP2 headlights.

The internals on my ap1 headlights are fine, so the question is.. can I switch over my ap1 headlight internals (bulbs, ballast, etc...) to ap2 headlight housings?

If its not a direct swap, what is required?

Thanks for everyone's time!

-Mike

When I went to cut out the lower portion of the headlight, I was of course getting shavings all over the place. I figured no big deal.. ill just blow them out when I'm done. Well... when I went to blow out the shavings, they just went deeper into the headlight housing and are now stuck in the lens area!

I have no idea what to do, besides talking off the lens which is a pain

If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know! I'm stuck here with no car to drive because of no headlights!

Thanks for everyone's time,

-Mike

try and rinse them out with water, than dry them out with a hair dryer or air gun. just make sure you dry them completely or you will have a condensation problem.

Take the lens off... for directions, go to Ricks website and look at the diffuse rinstall instructions.
