Is there a difference in size between the AP1 and AP2 front lower control arm or the knuckle assembly with bearing?

I have an AP1 and I need to replace the front lower control arm and knuckle assembly. Ap2 parts are newer and would be ideal. Am I going to run into any issues?

I know some of you guys have encountered a curb or 2. Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

In researching the S2000 before I bought one, I saw there was a suspension up-grade in 02, so I looked up the part numbers and most parts were the same for 00, 01 and 02, but the front lower control arms were a different number.
Maybe thats the up grade? Butch
