my ap2 lip is more than 4 inches from the ground, plenty of clearance, it only hangs like a half inch from the bumper.

I can confirm that it is not too much lower. The lip basically adds depth to the bumper without lowering it too much.

 

 

im getting an ap2 bumper soon... does the s2k look good without the lip when lowered?

 

I have a Mugen splitter and i hardly ever scrap.I'm also lowered( fender and wheel are flush)

 

I'd say the lip is between 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch lower. I bought my lip about a month after I bought my car and installed it myself. I think you should go for it, IMO the stock lip looks great. I have tein's on my car and scrape sometimes but you can't see scratches on the lip unless you look underneath the lip.

 

 

I am lowered ~1" and always scrape everything. I've given up. The lip is destroyed by all the rocks in the driving I do anyway so it's a lost cause. Maybe just buy a new one every 2 years or something.

Still wish someone made a CF splitter for AP2's with lips.
