Default AP2 stalls at idle when cold

I have a 2006 with 65,000 miles on it. Recently, when the engine is cold, it has begun to stall coming to stop lights. Once the engine is warm it does not seem to happen. As you come off the gas and depress the clutch the RPM's drop until the car stalls. Lots of posts about dirty IAC valve but I don't think the APM2 has one. Any other thoughts for a non mechanic? I really don't want to go to the dealer - long ways away.
Thanks
Kurt

Yes it does happen when coasting to a stop. But, this is new - it never used to happen.

not trying to be rude.. just trying to throw this out there but i always let my car warm up in the mornings or when i first start it no matter what kind or weather.. you say it happens alot while motor is 'cold'.. do you ever let it run for a few minutes before driving off.?

That is not being rude. I think it is a good idea. I just don't do it. Too impatient I think. I have to drive about 1.5 miles to get out of my subdivision - so by the time I am ready to go over 20 mph the engine has warmed up to 3 bars. As for a "cold" engine - it is a relative term since I live in south Florida
