Default AP2 valve springs and Retainers on AP1

I hear a lot of people say that the valve springs and retainers from the AP2 are stronger then the AP1 and that people replace the AP1 for AP2.I never seen it so far on anyones S2K that I know.I have an AP1 and I just did an oil change and found 2 broken ends of my valve springs in my oil pan(I can comfirm thats what it is I pulled the valve cover).I want to get them replace but I need to make sure the AP2 will work on my AP1 and if theres any changes to make before I install them.I also could use a good website to order them and get good prices.Thank a lot in advance for the feedback and help.

Use AP1 springs and AP2 retainers and keepers. There is no problem with AP1 springs.

CAUTION:

Careful when replacing the retainers and keepers (Only need to do the Intake side)

READ all forums reference this operation.....
