Default APEXi V-AFC installation

Hello,

i would like to install my v-afc. Can there are problems at the installation or can I install it like it's shown in the Japanese guidance?

Excuse me for my cruel english. I hope you understand it and I hope I havn't made too many mistakes.

Thanks,

Not too many mistakes, and not too cruel!

I referenced the factory service manual when installing, to match the V-AFC wiring to the USDM ECU. I know someone here has posted a diagram of the wiring for reference... I suggest you search for "V-AFC" or "VAFC" "diagram", or hopefully they will repost it here. I do not believe any of the ECU diagrams in the V-AFC application guide are correct for the car.

Thanks for reply.

i've found the diagram.

What is the VTM-Signal, in the guidance is nothing shown about this. It's the blue cable. Does i have to install it?

for USDM cars use diagram WH-4

VTM wire (Blue from V-AFC) connects to Pin C10 of ECU (Blue w/ Black stripe) Yes you need to connect it.

Good Luck

It should be. If the colors do not match (for any wires), I would question the installation. If all the colors match the locations listed, you should be fine.
