Default Aux. outlet stopped working

I used my portable air pump the other day and had it plugged it in th outlet. Later that day I tried to charge my phone it wasnt working. I just checked the fuse and its not blown. What else could it be? Is there another fuse? The one I checked was under the dash labeled 10A I think 3 or 4 down on the left side.

I'e heard of the outlet becoming loose and rattling. I think its a common problem, but mine never got loose. Does anyone know how it comes out?

There is a relay for that power socket. The Helm is a bit vague about where exactly it is. It shows that it's under the dash and near the center (like near the rear of the radio?). Maybe the relay is busted. It's a 5 pin relay.
It also shows that you have to remove the whole center console to get at the power socket. However, if you have small hands, you may be able to remove the rear panel (with the hooks on it) on the passenger side and reach back there to make sure the 2 pin connector is solid.

Accessing the back of the powerpoint only requires taking off a few pieces. Here is a thread about how to do it.

Same thing happened to me.. hooked up a pump to the auxillary socket and blew the fuse.. my radio and socket stopped working..

it's the 5th fuse on the left side in the interior fuse box. you may have to unplug a connector wire to get to the fuse.. it's a 10amp fuse..

That took care of my prob..

That would suggest that the aux power and radio are on the same fuse.

Does the radio work?
