im going to be putting in some "newer" axles on my s2k tomorrow and want to know how to distinguish what side was driver and passenger side axles?

i know there is 2 markings on the differential side one axle says D, and the other says E what does that mean and how can i tell?

any help would be great

 

It's no problem since the driver side is shorter.
