you sure its coming from the back of the car?

i'm pretty sure is coming from the back, i have lifted the car, and i cant hear anything on the differential, but its on the back somewhere.........

i have been told that it was my drive shaft that was shot, and i replaced it , but the noise is still there.

uh I would lift it up, put jack stands, put the car in neutral and try turning the axles. i believe mine made a similar noise when the lsd finally went.
