I lost one of those damn rubber bolt seals. You have to get the whole kit, so I figured if I am doing everything else why not do the plug seals, turns out I should have left them be.

Yeah, unless you rip one while reinstalling over the sharp edge of the plug tubes, I'd never touch them again

I changed mine recently just because. I was refinishing the VC after 199k miles (old paint flaking off everywhere) so I replaced all seals and washers while I was at it. Old tube seals were fine though after being removed probably 8x over their life.
