Doing a track day,all of a sudden hear a mechanical clicking/chatter from the rear. Sounds fine when off throttle, looks like the drive shaft can be pulled in and out of the diff a good half inch. Is it likely the diff is savable? I can still move the car it just doesnt feel/sound great. Any input appreciated. Its almost if the drive shaft disconnected

 

It is possible for the diff to be salvaged before it totally goes out. You should contact PuddyDad. He does exceptional work on diffs for our cars. I had him build a stage 2 diff for me and it runs great!
