When i go out for a drive and i drive hard when i stop i smell a kind of burning smell it smells very bad i dont think its my clutch what else could it be??

Also sometimes when im at idle and i tap the throttle the revs go up and when they come down they drop below to like 6-700 and the car vibrates like its going to stall but not so bad.

Should i take it into the dealer???

 

Do you only smell it when you brake hard, or when you simply just stop after driving hard?

 

It comes after i drive hard,after i vtec it im not sure about the brakes becasue when i drive hard i brake hard as well.

 

What has convinced you that it isn't your clutch?

 

As for the revs, how is your airfilter? Mine did the same when my airfilter was bad. I cured it with an AEM cai.
