I have had this problem as well on another car. I can try and start it with less than about 12.8V or so with no luck. Once I charge it over that, it starts right up.

Maybe there is some electrical leak going on that I am not aware of....

I bought a new battery a couple weeks ago from Wal-Mart, and it works no problem. Even in the cold weather we get in my area now. Once it starts to not get above freezing, you shouldn't go more than 5 days without starting it. Just to keep every fluid flowing and the battery up to par. Just my $.02. Good Luck.

...... it could be anything from coins in the cigarette liter to the light bulb inside the glove box.

1) No cigarette lighter in an S2K

B) No light in the glove box - which isn't really even a glove box

not TECHNICALLY a cigarette lighter, but a 12V outlet. Same thing, in essence. But yeah, it'd be really odd to find coins in there

I was just giving simple examples so he could understand what parasitic draw is. I realize there is no light in the glove box. Thanks.

Thanks anyways, it was the ipod interface that I had bought so I wouldn't have to take out oem hu but it turns out the thing was draining .05 milliamps always, and in turn after a week of this the battery was slowly diminishing. Thanks for the help.
