battery problems...
So the s2000 has been sitting for about 2 months now and I went to start it up so the alarm don't drain the whole battery while being parked. When I tried to start the car the battery was dead, so I jump started it and drove down the street then car dash lights start fading and the power steering light come on and there is no more power steering. Well I managed to park the car but it won't start again and the power is very low even after jump starting it. What is the issue? I changed the battery stiil the same. Could the alternator be bad? It was fine before I parked it.
if u have a sound system and not hooked up correctly that would drain your bat. also after u jump start the car and it dies while u are driving, the chances are ur alternator is bad.. just do a test. start ur car unplug your bat. if it dies ( what happened to u) chances are ur alternator is bad.
step 1: go recharge your battery and pop it back in. drive around or let it idle. for a while...
step 2: if it still dies.
step 3: change alternator...

So you also tell the guy to run his battery down to no volts? Good way to take half the life out of the battery.
So by your postings, the guy will ruin his alternator and have a flickering dashboard as the s2k is famous for it, and his battery will be junk.

thats how i usually test the alternator w.o. taking it out on my other cars =( nothing ever bad happen from that. buttt i guess the s2k is different? sorry for mis-informing.
running the car around and if the battery still drain, doesn't it indicate that the alternator is bad? since it is not doing its job?

X2 on the don't pull the battery lead when its running. Go to walamrt/Kmart and get a cheap voltmeter. Should be <10$. Post you readings. You should have @ 12.5V off(if battery is charged) and @ 14.4V running. As a bonus the voltmeter will help you diagnose any electrical issues in the future.
