Battery Terminals

Default Battery Terminals

I've tried searching but no go.

Mine are done and need replacement

Has anyone changed the battery terminals on there S?

Please help, thanks!!!

I changed my + terminal several years ago when installing stereo equipment. You cut off the old one, and clamp/crimp/attach the wires to the new one. How exactly that's done depends on the replacement terminal you've purchased.

yep. Cutting is probably the best way. There are some heavy duty crimpers you can use on certain types of terminals, and there are also the 'screw on with a bolt types. The crimp is probably the best type along with a heat shrink wrap.

What ddo you mean by 'its done' tho? have you tried to just clean the darn thing yet? (baking soda, water = wonders for battery terminals..

Corrosion on the terminals.
I wanted to take the battery out and clean the bay and the terminal broke in half.
