Default Bent Something?

Was recently doing an auto X event. Spun out and did a complete 180. Never went off course, or hit a dip from what I can recall. When I was driving back, and drove in a straight line I noticed the steering wheel is turned about 15 degrees to the right. The car tracks straight and true thought, just the wheel stays right. I’ve parked the car with the wheel straight, and both front wheels look pointed forward straight and true.

Under braking I did notice the car tries to pull to the right slightly. Any ideas? Did I knock it out of alignment?

Geo may have moved with the force,it quite often happens on the S2000 because of the crap adjustment design

Likely the adjusters just slipped slightly. Happened to me too after spinning a couple of times at autox. I would expect it would take a lot more force to actually bend the arms/ knuckles.

Check subframe alignment too. Also make sure subframe bolts are properly torqued down.

Do a search on subframe alignment. Its not difficult. Loosen subframe bolts, use two long, fat Phillips screwdrivers to wiggle subframe into alignment, hole in body aligned with hole in subframe, torque bolts down, get wheel alignment.

Just an update.

Took it to a dealer I know and had them put it on the rack. The alignment was waaaaau off. The tech made a few adjustments and got it back in line. On the test drive though the vehicle had the same issue, with no noticeable difference. Had the tech out it back on the rack and low and behold the alignment was off again. Mostly caster.

Another tech each theorized that the bushings were bound from the spin out. They unbolted the subframe and we’re able to dial the car easier than before.

Unfortunately... I’m still getting a pull to the left...

Sounds like you need to go to another shop maybe. Did they give you a print out of the before and after specs?... But before that i would get under the car and check out the castor bushings yourself make sure there not damaged, sometimes they are frozen and when they adjust them it ends up spinning the whole bushing thus ruining it. Also to note sometimes there is a slight crown in the road for water run off which may lead to the car feeling like it is pulling sometimes.

I agree. Find a really good alignment guy in your area and get it looked at again.
