bent valves?
I have a 2000 s2000. I have a ticking noise. And also when keeping it above 3500 RPM, check engine starts to blink and reads random multiple misfires in all cylinders. And misfires in 1,2,3 and 4 cylinder. I dont feel the misfire at all. Once i slow down check engine stops blinking and stays on. Sometimes it will actually go away all together. Replaced TCT. Still ticking. Did a compression test. I got 240, 240, 240 and 230. Im guessing timing chain?? Or maybe valves?? Any advice will help please.
Your valves are good and so are your rings. If you had bad rings or a bent valve you would not have such good compression numbers.
I'll let others post what they think the problem is, I just know you don't have a bent valve.

When was the last valve adjustment performed? And who did it...
If a valve adjustment doesn't seem like an issue see the misfire thread on steps on how to start diagnosing things. If you're local I'd love to help out.

I'm also going to go with valve adjustment here. But if this doesn't solve the problem check out this thread. It describes in great detail exactly what you're dealing with and several possible fixes/things to check.

It was done about 10000 miles ago. By a shop in YUMA az. Im currently in south CAL. I have changed the coils. And i doubt its all the injectors go bad after 3500 RPM. And freq the car isnt being driven. im looking for advice not some guy making assumptions and stating what i have already said.
