Sweet thread.

What were your impressions of the TP? Did it leave a foul smell?

Oh, and it's spelled sensor not censor

Thanks for the spell check.

The exhuast smells like a race car now...kinda nice...haha. Some people don't like it, but I don't mind.

perfect! thanks for the write-up. i have a berk tp waiting to get put on. i'm also worried about the smell, but i figure might as well try it for a little bit, if i don't like it just put the stock cat back on.

Nice... I need to install mine. Is the rest of your exhaust system stock?

I had the berk test pipe on my car as well and I agree the car felt faster with it (MY2004) after putting the car on the dyno I have decided to leave the cat on. With the test pipe I lossed 2-3HP throughout the entire RPM range and some TQ too .

After my passes on the dyno everyone in the shop was looking like . I am sure my results would have netted gains with proper air/fuel tuning, but If you are running a test pipe and not tuning the car for it you may be losing HP as well. Just thought I would let you guy's know my results (if your in CA the risk of running a TP to lose HP is really not worth it IMO)

If anyone has access to a dyno I would love to see if other S's have the same results.

I think this is more related to your aftermarket header and the O2 sensor connected to it. i guess i should ask, i forget: are you running a header?
