Default Best replacement serpentine belt?

I am having a hard time finding a Goodyear gator back anywhere, which is what I've used as replacements on most of my other cars. I'm at 142k now and it's starting to show some wear and also out of the tensioner default range. I'd rather not get ripped by Honda for a new one if I can avoid it. I've also read that there are different lengths (small margin) when buying different brands.

What seems to be the best replacement? Thx in advance.

I've been rocking Dayco for years from Autozone... both for my serpentine and my supercharger belt.

Hello, I also had a hard time finding the Gatorback in the regular part stores, so I checked online and found this...

Goodyear Gatorback

I don't know if this is the "best" replacement, but it's doing just fine.

Hope this helps. peace.

My experience has show that the Honda belt lasts way longer than any other belt.

^^yup

I had 170,000+ miles on the original belt and it was still doing fine, but I changed it anyways with a OEM belt.

Also the oem belt slides really easy verus aftermarket belts that take a lot of force to get them to slide over the tensioner.

Summit Racing sells the gatorback for about $20 shipped. It wasn't hard to slip over the tensioner at all.

I picked up a Bando (OEM) belt from Napa, which they offer, but usually don't stock, it took 1 day for them to get i. It cost $16.

BTDT with dayco, GY, Gates. Just don't last, and make noise.
