Default Big Problem With The Car This Morning!!!!!!

On my way to work this morning, I was driving kind of aggressively and made a hard right turn and my entire car shut down...no lights, no engine, no brakes, no gas...absolutely nothing...almost as if someone had "pulled the plug". Problem lasted probably about 3 seconds and then everything returned to normal....anyone had this happen to them?Or know what would cause it?

That happened to me once in my type r. I was at a red and it turned green so i started going and the whole car shut down. I looked under the hood and the battery got disconnected.
Thats just my experience....hopefully it can help you out.

It happened to me and many others, but only on the track when you spin or lose control of the car. I believe the ECU shuts down for safety reasons. Are you sure you didn't spin?

Haha - I had a similar experience in my GSR. I was driving along, minding my own business when the engine suddenly shut off - turns out I hit the key with my knee!

No I didn't spin out took the turn at 35 or so totally under control no sliding or anything...and it literally just shut down everything Good thing it wasn't in rush hour traffic because I had NO control over the car could barely turn the thing..I'm thinking it could be a problem with the ECM...Taking it to the dealer tomorrow but I doubt that they'll know anything since no one has had this particular problem before.

this exact same thing happened to my GSR 3 years ago...

i found out it was caused by the AEM Cold air intake. the roads were wet and the intake had suck up water from the road, not enough to enter the engine itself but enough to block the air from going in and shut down the engine. i started back up once i got to the side of the road and got an oil change the next day (dunno why but just for safety).

do you have cold air intake? or was the roads wet?? i dunno how s2k's intakes work but these are possibiities...

mabey, the battery tie down was loose and somehow the terminals touched something; therefore, the whole car shut down for those short 3 secs. ???
