What does the word "impressed" mean to you? - to me it is more than decent - it is excellent. If you read my posts, you will find that I try to use words very carefully, and in context; they are best read in that perspective, not in the modern "sound bite whatz up" mentality that seems to pervade modern discourse.

M1 is just not a superior extra long drain oil. But it does not claim to be, so it is honest and a good value, universally available.

Aha! Another UOA to compare to. I added my recent M1 UOA results, next to your 5600 mile interval (closest to my 5300 mile sample).

RR had previously indicated my lead was abnormally high and didn't know why, but it's interesting how close most everything else is. My sample seems to have lower "metal" content (other than lead) and higher "additive" content, if I'm looking at it right. My 5300 miles was over 8-10 weeks, Feb-Apr. I just did another oil change this weekend so I'll have a second analysis on M1 in a few weeks. I put LE 8130 in this time, so in 3 months I'll get a UOA on it.

When I get my 2nd UOA I'll post both at BITOG and see what they say.

I do autocross the car but that oil change would have only had a portion of the season on it (last event is typically early October and the sample was done in February).

Of course, with 111k miles, you may simply have already removed all the metal... ;)

That's a lot of calcium - I think I'll start drinking Mobil 1 instead of milk from now on
