Blinking oil light on cold start ups
How long has it been doing this? I had that happen once and it went away when I changed the oil filter out. Both OEM, but I suspect I got one with a bad anti-drain back valve.
Edit: my issue was with warm starts. It’s not unusual for the oil light to linger for a few seconds during a cold start as the oil pressure comes up. Can’t speak to the blinking..still may be worth throwing a filter on to see if that changes the behavior.

It does not do this every start up but it has started doing it a little more often. It started doing it since when I took it in for a oil change less than 1,000 miles ago 5w40. The filter is blue but it might not be the right one or it might be a bad one as you say.
Assuming you're using the proper PCX filter and your oil level is right (and 10w30 or 0w30), could you post a clearer video?
Maybe add some seconds before and after so we can see/hear the engine run before you cut away.
This looks fairly normal to me? But it's... not clear??

Maybe it is only a bad oil filter drain back valve. The engine then has to fill the oil filter first at every start = No oil pressure at the first seconds.
Change the oil filter and report.

My AP1 does that and has for some time, it is definitely not the filter in my case. As for what it is, not sure I guess it could be the sensor, something with the pump, etc. I have had no issues and sample oil regularly though, plus the car is tracked pretty hard.

Replace the oil filter, see what changes.
When changing filter, always pour oil into it, let it sit, pour more, etc.
Even though the filter sits sideways, you can get a decent amount of oil in it.

That's not cold...
Strange issue. I guess maybe the filter may do it. You sure they used 5W40?
Although, I guess at that temp, the oil weight would have to be pretty thicc to cause starvation on startup.
Your situation in the video doesn't seem all that abnormal though. The light blinks for a split second.
