Boost with a 11.3:1 CR?
Just wondering if I would be able to run 6 lbs "safely" with a SC kit or mild turbo setup. My engine is 11.3:1 as opposed to the stock 11:1 ratio, and I'm not really sure if it is a big enough difference to really warrant any "non-typical" problems or issues.... can anyone help? I was just thinking maybe I could be the first to boost a spoon motor like all the fly by nights in the past said they were going to do...
that's what I thought, but I'm not a guru as far as F.I. goes... my SCed Saleen was about as far as I went, and it was built from the factory. Thanks for the input, I really appreciate it!

What happed with the Dyno of your spoon engine? did you get any hp increase over stock?
One question if you engine was prepared by spoon why you only have 11.3 CR instead of 11.9?

I'm waiting on a test pipe to arrive before I tune the car... as for the CR, this is what I suspect it is. The engine was built from a US spec engine apparently, or they at least used an F20C1 block. Your guess is as good as mine... I'm going to have it compression tested before I dyno... I'd love more info on it, but haven't stayed current in bugging them about it... I had some repairs that took precedence. a Japanese prepared engine would be running 12:1, which is why I presume they did build it (other than the code on the block) from a US engine... it was going to be run in California after all, CARB and all...Now I'm just trying to decide between a super or turbo charger, and getting the cash together to do it with the components I want...
