Clay isn't so easy to use as it can be fragile. You can do it though!!
You build F1 cars for Honda, don't you? I know the F1 team is based in your area. Don't lie! I am terribly jealous. What's Jenson like? He should be sticking his chest out after having his best season yet.
How did you cut the mold out? Would have had to be pretty precise to line up with the bolt holes and everything, I can't imagine you went at it with a hand file. I might have just greased up the OEM cover and copied it directly...though that would have made for a funky finish 
I miss having a machine shop at my disposal
I spent the past 4 years building Formula SAE cars and now I always think of great things to make but never have the tools or materials.
