Default BOV

Hey so i wanted to know is it worth getting a BOW of the s2000 without a supercharger?
plus I read somewhere that since the s2000 is a v4 is screw up the air flow since there are 2 exhaust

as in

v1-4 = 1 muffler

v6 = 2

v8-12 =4

should i change that as well?
-----
I've been given mix advice to get it and not to. If i do get it I lower hp and might leak air out

for the muffler its said stock usually gives "cramps" to the car but having 2 mufflers on a s2000 might leak air out (again) and lower hp

so what should i do with my 2007 s
I don't want to get screw in the end

yea.....i have no idea what you are asking. BOV=Blow off Valve for FI applications so dont get that.

If you want aftermarket exhaust there are many available. I've never heard of 2 mufflers 'leaking' as you described. You can go with a single muffler and gain power/lose weight. The stock exhaust is not that bad to begin with.

Also ive never heard of a V8 w/ 4 mufflers! but id like to

If you dont do anything yet.....learn how exhaust systems work and what ones are available for the car and search through people's experiences on here with exhaust systems you will not 'get screw in the end'.

no need for a BOV unless you are turbo or sc'd and the engine in your s2000 is a 2.2L inline 4... not V4. I suggest you read up on parts and mods and maybe do something simple like a CAI first... it wont increase performance too much but it will sound good and give you a taste of modding with a low price tag and little danger of messing anything up!

dude you bought the wrong car for not knowing about cars... Most cars have 1 exhaust per bank of cylinders, the S2000 just splits into dual outlet. The only V4s exsist on bikes or the Flat 4s on the Subarus. But thats what the forums are for, it is a good source of information. you will learn my young grasshopper
